Structural design of 2 Underpasses located in a Roundabout. Their abutments  are placed over the embankment made by Mechanically stabilized Earth (MSE).

Description
The foundation soil has serious problems of consolidation (time-depending deformation), with vertical settlement over 1.0 meter. At the first stage, the Embankment was built. Then, after 6 months of preload, their abutments were built over the Embankments. This construction method is seismically stable and have been used several times in Chile for soils highly deformable.
